an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals. We are seeking a Software Developer to work onsite at our client’s facility in Peoria, IL. This is a contingent position expected to last 2 years.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 1. Bachelor’s degree
  
  
  2. 5+ years of experience in Java development
  
  
  3. 3+ years of experience in writing and deploying code in AWS
  
  
  4. Proven experience in:
     
     
     
     1. Batch or stream processing systems such as Apache Spark, Flink, Akka, Storm
     
     
     2. Message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMq, AWS SQS, AWS SNS, Apache ActiveMQ, Kinesis
     
     
     3. Datastores such as Redis and Elasticsearch
     
     
     4. Cucumber as a testing tool and it’s integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• 1. Actively participate in daily and weekly Scrum ceremonies
  
  
  2. Develop solutions in Java, Python, or YAML based on User Story requirements
  
  
  3. Actively participate in on-line code reviews with peers
  
  
  4. Leverage CI/CD for delivery of work
